What does your warranty cover?
The short answer
Shed Yard structures carry a workmanship and materials warranty, and our shells and garages are covered by a 1/1/5 warranty. Coverage assumes the building sits on a proper base and is maintained — improper site conditions and neglect are the usual exclusions. We build to last and we stand behind it. Storage buildings carry a workmanship and materials warranty, and our home shells and garages are covered under the 1/1/5 warranty — the same tiered structure homebuilders use for workmanship, systems, and structural coverage.
Generally covered
- Defects in workmanship on how the building was framed and assembled.
- Defective materials supplied by us.
- Structural elements under the terms of the applicable warranty period.
Generally not covered
- Damage from an improper base — settling, racking, or water intrusion from an unlevel or poorly drained site.
- Owner modifications and third-party alterations.
- Normal weathering, and neglected maintenance like unsealed paint or clogged drainage.
- Storm, fire, and other acts of nature, which are an insurance matter.
Love It or Return It
If you are not completely satisfied, most Shed Yard structures can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date.

- Touch up and reseal paint before bare wood weathers.
- Clear snow drifts off walls and doors after wet storms.
- Keep sprinklers from spraying siding.
